How To: Group icons in the Quick Launch toolbar on the taskbar?

Is there a way to group icons on the Quick Launch section of the taskbar? I have a toolbar in the right area of the taskbar of all my Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.). Is there a way to operate a symbol as have the toolbar, so I only take on an icon to the value of space in the Quick Launch section? I would prefer this instead of the toolbar. I am using Windows XP

No, there is no way to do this. You can arrange the icons just by dragging and dropping where you want them, though, and they will stay at this location. Or, if you insist on only one icon per group, in the Quick Launch toolbar, you create a folder for each group.

The easy–to–read bible for developing, financing, marketing, and selling consumer products––from gadgets to kitsch, from high–touch to high–end––for America’s rising entrepreneurial nation. Launch It! is written by a team of trend and product consultants with over 60 years of collective experience advising thousands of entrepeneurs, designers, and companies. As they realized not one trade book was available on the market that would provide soup–to–nuts guidance for any firm or entrepreneur seeking to turn inventions and cool ideas into great products that sell, they decided to write that book themselves. Unlike any other book, Launch It! provides the reader with the step–by–step game plan that anyone can follow to evaluate their idea, raise capital, save time, stay on top of emerging and important trends, and make money.

Taking you every step on your way to product and business success! America has always been a place of dreamers, people who think big and have grand ideas. However, they often remain just that — ideas — because people believe they lack the contacts, skills, knowledge, and financing to move forward. Established businesses also face increasingly tough competition in the race to develop and launch innovative consumer and business products. Now both can benefit from the first book of its kind, an easy-to-read handbook that not only tells you what to do, but shows you how to do it. Internationally recognized product and trend gurus, Molly Miller-Davidson and JoAnne Stone-Geier team up with noted product designer Michael B. Levinson to give an insider’s view of each stage of product development and marketing, offering battle-tested insights to get you started or to move your business to new levels of success. Every page offers ideas that will give you a razor-sharp edge in today’s competitive U.S. marketplace. While many other books cover just one business aspect (development, sales, or marketing) or get bogged down in academics or management-ese, Launch It! leads you from product idea through launch by people with hands-on experience winning the game in the trenches of real business. The trio has covered every aspect of building and bringing a product successfully to market, working as company owners (currently), national sales and marketing directors, sales reps, retailers, store buyers, trade show managers, consultants, and industry writers. This allows them to analyze products from every set of industry eyes. Launch It! is a treasure trove of information, contacts, and resources that teach you, step-by-step, how to avoid common and costly mistakes, and come out on top. There are also inspiring company stories of entrepreneurial success and an invaluable Resource Guide. Meant to be read once and then referred to again and again, this book belongs in the office of every entrepreneur, product developer, manufacturer, and business marketer who wants to optimize his or her success and save time and money along the way.

Starting a church from scratch? Start here! This is no typical church planting or church growth book. The authors, both pastors at The Journey Church of the City in Manhattan, offer specific strategies for beginning a church from scratch, based on their own experiences in launching a church with no members, no money and no staff and watched membership skyrocket to more than a thousand people in three years! They offer clear, practical how-to strategies for quickly raising funds, creating a team, planning services, effective evangelism and rapidly developing a growing membership. Specific advice is included for reaching that often difficult-to-target demographic, the 20- to 40-year-old. You ll also get an insider s look at The Journey Church of the City as a model for church planting. The helpful strategies here will help you remove many of the barriers, questions and doubts encountered in starting a church from scratch. If these principles work in NYC, they ll work for you!

After Nathaniel’s leg is crushed in an accident, his father brings home an orphan boy, John Worth, to help work the fields. Worth has come to Nebraska from New York City on the Orphan Train, which brings homeless children west to find new lives.Nathaniel feels increasingly jealous of the boy who has taken over not only his work but the attention of his father, who has barely spoken to him since his injury. In school for the first time he is far behind even his youngest classmates, and he feels as useless there as he does at home.Meanwhile, Worth is still grieving for his family and his old life. As the farm chores prevent him from going to school, he also resents losing his dream of an education and a good job. And for all the work he does, he knows he will never inherit the farm that he’s helping to save. But a battle between ranchers and farmers — and a book of Greek mythology that Nathaniel reads aloud each evening — forges a connection between the two boys, who begin to discover that maybe there is enough room on the farm, and in the family, for both of them.A. LaFaye’s dynamic portrayal of two boys longing for something they no longer have — and finding the resources to face the future — offers a fresh perspective on the thousands of children who moved west via the Orphan Trains in the late nineteenth century.

The 2006 Economic And Product Market Databook For Fort Worth, United S

The 2006 Economic And Product Market Databook For Fort Worth, United S

$129

In performing various economic analyses for its clients, I have occasionally been asked to investigate the market potential for various products and services in United States. The purpose of this study is to understand the density of demand within United States and the extent to which Fort Worth might be used as a point of distribution within North America & the Caribbean. From an economic perspective, however, Fort Worth does not represent a population within rigid geographical boundaries, rather, it represents an area of dominant influence over markets in adjacent areas. This influence varies from one industry to another, but also from one period of time to another. In what follows, I summarize the economic potential for Fort Worth over the next five years for hundreds of industries, categories and products. The goal of this report is to report the real economic potential, or what an economist calls the latent demand, represented by Fort Worth when defined as an area of dominant influence. The reader needs to realize that latent demand may or may not represent real sales. For many items, latent demand is clearly observable in sales, as in the case for food or housing items. Consider, however, the category satellite launch vehicles. Clearly, there are no launch pads in Fort Worth used by the space industry to launch satellites. However, the core benefit of the vehicles (e.g. telecommunications, etc.) is consumed by the area served by Fort Worth. Without Fort Worth, in other words, the market for satellite launch vehicles would be lower for the population in United States, North America & the Caribbean, or the world in general. One needs to allocate, therefore, a portion of the worldwide economic demand for launch vehicles to both North America & the Caribbean and Fort Worth. The data presented are the result of various spatial econometric and time-series forecasting models which, for each category presented, are applied to forecast and allocate demand across@`
