I have to go school shopping in this weekend. I like vintage clothes, the clothes 'emo', and just some interesting things. I am a person mix'n'match well that pretty much any shop to do. I'm looking for cheap prices. Some topics I like, heaters, socks, pants, skirts, dresses, trousers, boots [preferably without heel], long socks, footless socks, belts [which can be functional], rainbow stuff, Baretta, ties, long necklaces … it's really all I can think right now, but I'm sure this was enough information? Please help! [I can not stand style "gangsta", btw.] Thank answer! Molly brought something … I prefer it not also be stores in the mall. Vintage Mac $8.98 This is yet another super-budget compilation of tracks by the original (aka Peter Green/Jeremy Spencer era) Fleetwood Mac. There is little to distinguish it from the other faceless dozens unless you count that several of these cuts are from the live at the BBC sessions, such as “Albatross” (the studio version’s better), “Looking for Somebody,” and “Man of the World.” You already know what’s on the rest: “Green Manalishi,” “Black Magic Woman,” Duster Bennett’s “Jumping at Shadows,” “Oh Well,” and “Rattlesnake Shake,” to name most of them. There are ten tracks in all, and if you know anything about the early Fleetwood Mac you already have them. Vintage Woodwinds $16.98 These nifty performances on America’s leading label for wind instrument performance are worth at least a serving of dumplings and strudel.(This pair of short three-movement concert pieces originated in a deal made by Mendelssohn with Heinrich Baermann and his son Carl Baermann: Both were excellent clarinet and basset horn players, and Carl was a fine cook. Mendelssohn wrote the pieces in one day while Carl was back in Mendelssohn’s kitchen making Dampfnudel (sweet dumplings) and Rahmstrudel (cheese strudel).)Performances of the pieces are rare because the basset horn went out of use for well over a century. The late 20th Century’s interest in period instruments has revived it. This performance is by the Saeculum Aureum Players, three musicians with connections to the original instruments movement in the Northwest United States. They are clarinetist Richard Spece, who plays an original Mollenhauser clarinet made around 1825; William McColl, who plays a replica instrument he made himself from an 1815 Gießling & Schlott basset horn from Berlin; and Bonnie Garrett, on a replica of an Anton Walter fortepiano from Vienna of about 1795, reproduced by Rodney Regier of Freeport, Maine, USA.The two wind instruments have delightful woody tones, and the fortepiano a charming harp-like quality that blends with the clarinet and basset much more readily than a modern piano would. The instruments are notoriously difficult to play in tune (which is why they were replaced by more modern designs by most musicians), but problems along those lines are kept to a remarkable minimum by the players.Mostly, this music is played to produce Mendelssohn’s intended result: To delight.
