The new Ping Ping G15 irons are designed from the game improver in mind.
Like the Rapture V2's, they offer maximum forgiveness, but a subtle aesthetic proposition.
Released in the place of the Ping G10 range they feature a wide sole that allows them to sit comfortably behind the ball and a large offset when the positions of the hands forward.
This gives people who have trouble getting the ball airborne with a certain feeling that this can be reached and this was indeed the case.
There was consistent feel throughout the irons and shots that came from the toe (by a dodgy swing!) Still managed their way into the sky and carry on a distance forgiving.
A pleasant surprise was that during the back swing the club head felt weighted in such a way that I was aware of her position and so found it easier to present my golf curse, the control of the over-swing.
Ping have released another winner, one who the mid-to high handicapper will love, and although it never guarantees that a new set of irons will reduce your handicap, I think this club can provide a very good chance to do that.
The revision of Ping G15 Fairway Wood:
The G15 is a little different than your normal fairway timber that has a lower profile and larger head than you may be used, elongated from front to back, but it is the mid to high handicapper can benefit from psychologically.
The club is easy to position the ball behind his back and I was weighing my way able to tightly control the ball.
A few other enjoyable aspects were the route of the flight and distance.
Although I am using a 4-wood I was easily able to reach, if not exceeding those occasions, usually the distance achieved with my 3-wood.
This was another club that was Matt spiders – this time after he launched a shot in the back of a par-three green with an impressive draw-shape.
Matt preferred fairway woods and Long Irons were sold on the G15 – it felt great in his hands, was a pleasure to swing and had a nice high trajectory.
Easy to use both tee and fairway, Ping have another club, that makes the game easier produced for the ordinary mortal.
