Harrington Richardson
Miami guard of 27 years of age, Dwyane Wade scored a career high of 55 points to help his team to beat the Knicks 122-105 on Sunday. Wade was close to surpassing the record in the history of the franchise created by Glen Rice in 1995, when he scored a career-high 56-points. But Wade did not focus on this record or his own glory, he just wanted to get the victory against the Knicks to reach a good spot in the playoffs. With the victory, the Miami Heat got the seed No. 5 in the Eastern Conference and will play the No. 4 seed Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the playoffs this weekend.
During the game, Wade had six triples, 6 of 12 shots from three point range and 19 of 30 shots from the field. Only scored 27 points in the first half and coach D'Antoni and the rest of team believes it will be cold in the second half of the game, but he was so confident and focused only remained unstoppable. This was the third time this season that the candidate MVP of Miami finished with 50 or more points in one game. Besides him, LeBron James is the only player to have achieved 50-point games this season.
Wade later said that was so concentrated that even went to talk to his teammates when he reached the sand. He was determined to help his team and get a good victory. To him it was very important to get a good result as the playoffs start next week.

For the Knicks were the best scorers Wilson Chandler had 21 points and 3 rebounds, Al Harrington with 21 points and 6 rebounds, Quentin Richardson had 14 points and 7 rebounds, and finally, David Lee had 11 points and 11 rebounds.
