I've heard rumors that many of you in Readerland on the recent spike in gasoline prices. In fact, it's all been hearing about lately. But at least prevents rumor about the infrequency of my columns and articles. However, I decided to try to help you get through this crisis by generously providing: 3 Ways to Combat Rising price of gas!
1. Do not drive your car
This is, of course, the obvious solution. Please take the old Plymouth the driveway, then no matter that, at current prices of gas needed $ 125 to fill the gas tank of 30 gallons, or only receive about 2.51 miles per gallon. If you never drive, you could care less.
Of course, I know what you're going to say. "But Tim, I have places go-like work. And the kids have school and soccer practice. And then there's grocery shopping and yoga lesssons and dinner at the Richardsons and blah blah blah and …." Ok, I get the point. Photos like me. I fully understand that some of you have a life. But just because you do not drive your own car, does not mean you can not move. The answer?

It seems so simple now does not it. Instead of using the gas to use someone elses! Ask someone who pays $ 5.50 per gallon of gasoline to keep their children school. Make Someone else dip into their retirement fund just so they can cover the gas bill needed to go to office and back every day. Make Someone else get a second job so they can have a full tank of gas in his truck when his daughter needs to cross the shopping center. It's that simple.
Of course, the concept behind car sharing is that we all take turns driving. Thus, in a carpool situation to normal in the long run would be necessary to use your car and spend money driving others around. But this is not a normal situation Sharing, this is a situation of Tim Ward share (TWCPS). In a TWCPS avoid using your own car, making way for participants to carpool to others prefer to walk barefoot on the asphalt 120 degree travel with you. This is achieved by:
(a) never washing or cleaning your car. Let the future and it smells like the county landfill.
(b) that the worst behaved child in his family sitting in the front seat at all times. Feed the child lots of sweets so he / she always superhyper.
(c) refuse to discuss anything in your car except your spouse bad bathroom habits, body fluids, hang nails, chest hair, etc.
(d) only play reggae music on the radio. Strong!
You should not have to worry about anyone wanting to travel with you anymore.
3. Ride the bus / metro
Many cities have a mass transit system is an alternative to driving your own vehicle. If you live in a city that does not have one do not worry, you can
always move. Of course, riding public transportation has some drawbacks, but they can be easily overcome if you follow these simple instructions:
1. No matter what happens never, never make eye contact with anyone. Making eye contact is an invitation for someone to steal.
2. No matter what happens never, never give up her seat to anyone. This is seen as weakness and will be taken as an invitation to a cup of tea.
3. No matter how tempted are never, never enter a conversation with the person sitting next or across from you. This is very annoying and can be taken as an invitation for someone to steal. Or worse, someone with talk again.
4. Always make sure you are alert to go up and down at the right stop. Get off at the wrong stop can lead to theft immediately.
5. Never, ever, take the kids with you on public transport. Fellow passengers hate children. Kids make victim-defined material cup.

Surefire Hits on Central Avenue $16.38 From the mid-’40s to the mid-’50s, Central Avenue in South Central Los Angeles was the axis of the city’s exploding R&B scene, which played a crucial (and sometimes overlooked) part in helping lay the foundation for rock & roll. No one would agree on exactly which two dozen songs or so were the most pivotal recordings from this scene, and in any case you’d need a box set to cover all of the most notable performers and recordings. The 26 songs on this single-disc anthology — mostly taken from the Modern, Specialty, and Dootone catalogs — might not be the biggest hits or even most artistically crucial recordings of the style; the selection’s too quirky and incomplete for that. But it does include cuts by many of the best mid-20th century L.A. R&B artists, including Joe Liggins, Little Esther, Hadda Brooks, Floyd Dixon, Jimmy Witherspoon, Big Jay McNeely, Roy Milton, Chuck Higgins, Little Willie Littlefield, Pee Wee Crayton, Etta James, Jesse Belvin, Richard Berry, Johnny “Guitar” Watson, and Joe Houston. Just as vitally, it covers several aspects of L.A. music from the era that could be called R&B, and not just the honkin’, shoutin’, sax-driven jump blues and piano-based ballads that dominate many single-artist collections from the time and place. Those are here too, of course, but there’s also doo wop, electric guitar-fired blues, mid-’50s cuts verging as much on rock & roll as R&B, and gentle numbers that fall as close (or closer) to jazz as R&B. Some of the songs have made an impression beyond the relatively small niche of listeners who specialize in collecting this sort of R&B.
