Nikon Buckmaster BDC Rifle with zeroing?

Is it a good idea about the Nikon rifle scope with BDC to unscrew the elev. Windage and screws without moving the tower and bring the turret dials back to "0" lift and tighten again after zeroing at 100 yards so that u can perform the lifting towers reaching and correction of wind effect? We need your views on this matter … thanks.
